So, like, . . . after Harrah's has bought every casino on the planet will there be any decent tournaments left anywhere? CBS Marketwatch
I am curious what they have planned for the IP in Biloxii. I figure they bought the LV property for the location. The Biloxi property is on the back bay but has a lot of potential. It is one of the larger hotels and has lots of unused room on the casino floor as well. They have always suffered from being perceived as a "low roller " property in Biloxi and truthfully, have not done much to throw that albatross off their neck. They do have the only casino movie theater, a pretty large pool area that is just dying for an upgrade in amenities, and nice views from some of the highest floors of hotel rooms on the coast. A little more attention to detail and an infusion of cash to upgrade a property that has a lot of basics already in place will go a long way towards making this a much more desirable property. Of course, Harrah's also has the two Grand Casinos on the coast after buying out Caesers so it is anyone's guess on what will be sporting which brand.
