I was just wondering the same thing. Yes last year it was Thanksgiving weekend before it aired but this year they said it would be a 4 show series, starting sometime in August. Hopefully we'll hear something soon.
Hello All! I just emailed the Travel Channel's Viewer Relations department about MDII to inquire about the airdate. They should get back with me in a week or so. I am impatiently awaiting my 15 minutes of fame.
Angie, your 15 minutes may have already started I’m currently in CA visiting relatives, and during a conversation at dinner last night my sister-in-law mentioned that she had recently seen a promo on the Travel Channel for the Hilton MDII. It was a still shot of one of the players and the voice-over was something to the effect that “Anyone can play, even a mother of two”. So I showed her the picture of semi-finalists that Ken had posted and pointed Angie out but she did not think it was the same woman as in the promo. Did anyone see the promo and recognize Angie or catch the air date? --jr
We don't get The Travel Channel on our cable system. Does anyone know if they sell tapes of their program in the same manner that Discovery Channel does? I haven't had the opportunity to see the first final and would like to buy the tape if it is available.
I beleive so. The Travel Channel is part of the discovery network so I think they would sell them. I would save the money thought, send me a blank tape and pay for the shipping and I'll tape off my copy. Send me a private message if your interested. Your best bet is to sign up for those cable or satellite channels that show the blackjack shows. GSN - World Series of Blackjack and Celebrity Blackjack, Discovery channel - American Casino, and Travel Channel - World Poker Tour, Million Dollar Blackjack, (and soon Million Dollar Blackjack II), Vegas Challenge, and all the Vegas and other casino shows.

Who knows? I heard the week before Thanksgiving and then in September I heard they may hold off until after the first of the year to show the MD II. The new WSOB II will start up on GSN on January 21st (tentatively).
Mdbjii I called the Discovery/Travlel Channel cust svc and they didn't know squat! All they could tell me was a MDBJ T is scheduled to air Mon Nov 28@ 2:00AM . . I'm thinking this a 'rerun' of the first tournament...?
Another rumor When I talked to the production company, in early Nov. They said they had finished editing the semi finals and anticipated being through with the editing of the finals by mid Dec. (2004 ) They "thought" the Travel Channel might air the shows the first week of Jan. (2005) during their Vegas Special series.
Yep! That's what I was told back in September. They thought it would be shown in January during Vegas week.
