Last hand of qualifying round, one advance. I have last bet and the lead. Four players left in round and two of those have busted out. I have 31250, BR2 has 30000 and bets 15000, I also bet 15000. It is a 2 person game and I am favored until the cards are dealt.
BR2 is dealt a 20, dealers up card is a ten, I have a 6 and 4. Naturally BR2 stands(I still feel good about my hand, even with BR2s 20) I hit for a 3(not feeling so good now) hit again and draw an ace (feeling pretty crappy now).

Should I hit my 14 that contains 3 low cards, and stop at 17 or higher or should I stand. I take the full 30 seconds allowed and decide to stand. (WRONG) Dealer turns a 5 then another 5 for 20. BR 2 pushes, I lose, he wins.

Question-Should I hit the 14 or stand? WONGS strategy, pg 133, table 5 indicates a hit o a total of 17. Does this strategy consider that the hand already contain 4 cards, and 3 of those are low cards. (all 14s aren't the same.)

Would appreciate any feedback on this articular play.
