I realize that GSN is spreading this tournament over weeks, but how long did it really take? A day, A weekend?

    Thanks

    One week

Normally it is all filmed in one week (6-7 days).

I was wondering if it was taped in one day. Ken E Kami and RR Darrell had same cloths on during wild card drawing an game.

The filming took almost a week overall, with the actual play over 4 days if I recall correctly. On the days when you weren't scheduled to play, you often had to show up for photos or bio, which meant wearing the same clothes as you were playing in for at least a short time.

We were all very tired of those clothes by the time filming was completed. At least they let us switch outfits if we advanced to the next round.

    Filming

Were you paid for your time? After all, if they were not filming then the tournament could have been completed quicker. Also, if you were REQUIRED to stay that could cost $$ too and then if you did not win...

The only compensation for the event was the prize pool. But, that's a pretty considerable value! At $1,000,000 overall prizes with 40 players, committing to hanging around in Vegas for a week at GSN's expense was worth a nice $25,000 on average.

Just let me know where to show up next time!

    What about the UK?

Anybody got any idea who's going to run with this in the UK? Previous series have been screened by the poker channel so I guess it'll be them again?

    Cheers
