How would I get paid if I won a UBT freeroll?

I must be missing something. My PlayUBT account has no financial account attached to it. It's just a "bank" for TECs. So, in the unlikley event that I won the $100, how do I get the money? They do have my address so perhaps a check is mailed?

As a side question, how will ClubUBT accounts be funded? I thought UIGEA was designed to restrict the financial transactions for all online wagering. To me that meant poker and blackjack (skill games) as well as slots, roulette, etc. JoeP says 100% legal but wondering how.

I know it's not illegal to gamble online in Virginia (yet) but as you may detect I am still nervous about the current environment.

Has anyone won money at CLUB UBT and if so how did they handle the withdrawal.

Apparently cashing out requires prior validation of identity with a picture Driver's license, passport or some other forms of ID. Then they send you a check. No info on minimum withdrawal on web site that I saw. Since I've only won points, the whole process is moot for me.

I think I remember seeing something on the clubUBT site about how prize winnings are handled.
It did involve a photo ID with address and a couple of other things. Poke around and see what you can find.

I can't look it up for you, since I uninstalled the entire UBT program late last week.
Yes, I am still ballistically bitter about being frozen out with no detailed explanation. :flame:

You have to send proof of eligibility. You can do it by fax, email or snail mail. If you got to your account page, it should say 'not eligible to claim prizes' and there is a link which takes you to the eliglibility page. That page only has the snail mail address, but has a link the the FAQs where a different eligilibility page had the fax and email.

We sent ours on Monday by email and haven't had any reply yet.

Well, we sent in the eligibility info and it was accepted. So then decided to claim our winnings. We didn't want to spend too much more time at ClubUBT if there was going to be any issue with getting the money out. According to the info on our account, the claim has been approved. We'll see how long it takes.

Just an update on getting paid by ClubUBT. We received our cheque this week on July 10th. That took 2 weeks from claiming it to having the cheque in our hands.

We are in Canada, BTW, in case any other Cdn players are wondering about claiming prizes.
