Per call to Hustler Casino Blackjack pit, "The blackjack tournaments have been cancelled. They might return but not in the near future." Sad new for me. Between Nov 2006 and July 2007 I grossed just over $5000 in winnings. When they went to continious shuffel machines last July my winnings went to zero. I liked the Hustler tournaments because they were 1/4 as far and paid over 4 times as much than at the Golden Acron. I might make the drive to the Goldlen Acron for the Feb. tournament, but I haven't decided for sure. Can anyone give more info about the upcoming Pechanga tournament? $1000 in live Chips to play?
Pine Tree, I updated the Pechanga tourney so it will appear on the main calendar every month instead of just the monthly. Im pretty sure the tournaments are same as my update. Im not sure what the "live money" thing is about but thinks its an error. Problem with the Pechanga is, if you still live in my area, you need to leave by 1pm or risk sitting in heavy and I mean heavy traffic. I left my hours at 2pm and got to Pechanga at 6:55pm! Then it took me 2 hrs to drive home.
Pechanga Tournaments Hi Barney Thanks for the reply. Sounds like a call to Pechanga is needed to clairfly the $1000 in live chips question. It doesn't make sense as you would need $1000 for each qualifying first round. The payoff even for 1st place would not support that expense. I checked with the Chumash Casino last month. They hate blackjack tournaments and have no plans of future blackjack tournaments. I was doing well with them also. I still live in your area.
There was a duplicate posting on the calendar of the Pechanga tournaments. I edited that posting so it will not appear on the calendar. Your posting remains as you edited it. Pine Tree: I put a "last date" of 1/24/08 on the Hustler event you mentioned so it will no longer appear on the Calendar.
