where to ask this. I guess this subject area isnt only for TBT! Does anyone know details of this short cruise? tia https://www.blackjacktournaments.com/oldtourn/viewtourn.php?infoID=884
I don't know about this cruise... Chips posted about some model BJ cruise a month or so back, I am not sure if this is the same cruise. I suggest you call the number listed on the link you posted to find out more information.
Chips post Chips post is listed under the annoucments and suggestions under Supermodels Blackjack cruise from November 29th. He has some information listed there.
Thanks for the info. Unfortunate the date is Feb 5-9 as posted on 2nd page of calendar not March as on first. I dont think I can go. Im going to try to put the links and the code, I called the number listed for Carnival Costumer service and they couldnt find the event, so anyone else can use it when calling.
A bit more detail I have received a bit more detail from the promoter re the Super Models of Blackjack Cruise in early February as follows: It is open to all. It is a fun trip with the girls. The winner will get $1000 prize for the Blackjack Tournament. Second Place will get $500. Third Place will get $250. Players will have two rounds to qualify for the final round which will consist of 3 Players and 3 Models. The models will get their prize money separate from the Players. The Players keep their winnings. The Players would book their own room through Carnival. There is a special code. Then the buy in is $500 which includes everything including Golf at Baja Mar Golf Resort, Lobster on the beach at world famous Puerto Nuevo, a tour of Fox Studios and the Titanic in Rosarita Beach, shopping in Ensenada, etc. There will be a hospitality suite for those who like to avoid the high alcohol price on board ship. Here is a link for the event: http://www.supermodelsofsports.com/CruiseDetail.html Golf $65, lobster dinner $90.... Winning the tournament $1,000 The view...priceless!! The March event I mentioned in my original post on the subject in the Announcements section on 29 NOV is a separate, but similar event held by the same people - only it is land based at the Eldorado Casino in Reno - I attended that one last year. Chips
Chips I tried to update the calendar, a couple times, to include the code etc. I was a little confused about the buy in of 500$ which I take includes all the activities like Lobster, golf, BJT, etc. So, Im guessing the total per person is about 769$. 269 for cruise + 500 for activities. Sounds like a good value altho dont forget N. Mexico and Catilina Island are susceptible to winter weather. Too bad the payout isnt better for the tournament. Have a good time if you go!
Barney - Did you SEE who's supposed to be going on the cruise. Click on the below link which comes from their site. http://www.supermodelsofsports.com/team.html Just in case you don't get the link going here's some pics, from their site, of the most recent BJ Halloween ball. Seems someone from this site already found out about it and was keeping all the fun to themselves! :joker:
