Cutting back seems to be the theme these days. Treasure Island (MN) no longer holds their monthly BJ tourney. Just heard today that Jackpot Junction won't hold their Spring 25K tourney. Last year, Ho-Chunk (WI) cancelled their monthly tourney's. If this continues I might have to actually get a part-time job! :laugh:
also closed down the Waterfront hotel 2 miles from the casino so I do not know where all the tourney players will stay when the casino hotel is filled up. Maybe they will put up players at the Holiday Inn xpress as in years past. The economy is getting scarier by the day. CP
The off-site casino-owned motel is closed for the winter, scheduled to reopen in May. It does make one wonder where they're going to put all of the March BJT players.
A change that doesn't hurt most entrants Received mailer from Kewadin today and the monthly cash back coupon that was $35? is now 2 $15 (one good March 1-15 and one good March 16-31). This means the tourney players that stay over til Monday (March 16) should be able to cash both in (many do stay over because of the free room that nite). Not me because of the long drive back. Because of the good value otherwise, I still can't complain. Billy C
