Cant download blackjack21, I use a mac so maybe thats the reason. I started using Apple products in 1983 and finally bought a PC in 2004 only to have it demolished by hard drive failure once and advertising programs soon after the hard drive fix all in a year. Told myself I will never buy one of those PC (piece o crap) PCs again. Maybe I will have to break down and buy a PC PC. Damn. At least its a tax write off! Barney
Also Ready to Play Hi All, It took a little doing, but I'm finally ready to play. I had to download macromedia Flash 8. They give you $1000 play money to use in free games or you can set up an account and play with real money. I'm going to play with my free money for a while and determine if I want to go the real money route. I really like Global-Player and will reserve my judgement on this new site. Finally got on It is a nice little game for free. I see a few problems that need to be fixed before playing for real. 1. The betting system is slow and you only have 15 seconds to bet. You have to click on the chips (like over at Global) but they stick here. I had to click on them several times to add to my bet and by the time I got the amount I wanted the 15 seconds were up and min. bet was placed. 2. Insurance, I don't believe it goes in order, I think it just asks everyone all at once. Also it is for full insurance, no insure for less. 3. No DD of less. 4. It is a $50 min./ $1,000 max. betting limits, but it has $1, $5, and $25 chips (which I like). 5. It needs some type of bell or something to let you know when it is your time to play. But all in all it is a nice fun little game to get a group of up to 8 players or even one other player for a free game.
Yeah, the betting is a little tough. The system gives you problems and with only 15 seconds I was relegated to minimum bet on the final hand more than once (OK for free, but not cool for real money). I can't seem to get back on the site though.

A few of you have made suggestions on how to make it better and I forwarded your suggestions, and they are taking action. 1. Both the eight player and the mano a mano have now have 20 seconds 2. By the end of the evening you won't have the chip problem. 3. Insurance does go in order starting with the button 4.By Monday there will be a sound to notify you when it is your turn.
