I've been reading many posts here and I really appreciate the insights of other players. I admit the UltimateBet has made many mistakes and that customer service is not very responsive. However, I'd like to look on the positive too.

UltimateBet offers 10 guaranteed elimination blackjack tournaments everyday. It seems to me that they fill less than half of these. They offer many tournaments everyday that offer a positive EV for the players. Just look at the big 25k tournament on Saturday. Only 99 people registered. That means that UB lost almost $4000 on this tournament. They actaully lost more because many people qualified playing satellites that were at a positive EV themselves.

Let's be honest, elimination blackjack is a small portion of their business. That's no reason to not treat their customers with respect though. They should honor their bonuses or simply remove them and admit that it will never be. The seating was a disgrace for awhile and I do think the dealer was making too many hands. Both those issues seem resolved to me. I have recorded the results of hundreds of hands recently and the percentages are pretty close to expectation. I have also been running into far fewer amazing odds of losing situations.

However, we need to remember that UB offers a bonus to elimination blackjack players EVERYDAY. 10 Guaranteed tournaments, many of which do not fill up. Not many places offer so many opportunies to play with a positive EV.

UB does not respond well to customers, but they do respond. They eliminated and then brought back the guaranteed tournaments, they have fixed the seating, the dealers seem okay again and withdrawal times seem better.

UB offers the best games in town. Like others have written, live tournaments are just not possible for me now and I really appreciate the opportunity that UB has given me to play this game.

    Bet21

I live in L.V....and I play tournaments everyday (small minis) 1,000 1st prizes etc. I play Bet21 also...for the life of me..I have never seen the like of the complaining about an opportunity to win thousands of dollars every day. The government will shut this opportunity off eventually...and then all the bitching will be...."Oh I don't have any place to play except the casinos". Wise up...live with it, we all play with the same rules and conditions..enjoy it while you have it!!! Mikey754

at least you do not have SWAT teams breaking down your doors, in vegas mikey. what the heck kind of degenerate state do you live in that allows online gaming? is nevada, still part of the union? come to wa. st. where one is proud to be considered a felon, while enjoying (or not), the pleasures of online gaming.

hope your bride is doing fine and say hi to sam

mikey, it is good to know that your fine state is towing the line with also making online gaming illegal. of course, they would have that protection for the fine people of nevada. heaven knows that can be the "only" reason for such a law to be on the books. i am sure it can not be for the "couple" of land based casinos that you have. but, are you a felon for clicking your mouse, also?
