Just a question, under the What's Going On section, why does it say the most users ever online says 89, yesterday @ 4:51pm when earlier it was over 300? Was there a reset button pushed or something? Just curious. J. Belders
Yes, I got curious about our more recent statistics, so I reset it. The previous high was set quite a while ago, but from the looks of recent activity, we'll be back to 3-digit figures pretty soon. That's the second time in the history of this site that I have reset the total. The first time was after a flood of visitors pretty much crashed the site just after the death of Michael Tata, from the TV series American Casino. A post on the board mentioning his death was ranked highly at Google, and there were a lot of people looking for info on that. You just never know what might bring the world to your doorstep.
Something else! There is something else that I would like to suggest to make the site a little more user friendly, at least for me anyhow. The toolbar you have at the top of the site "User CP FAQ Member List New Post ...". Could that also be copied at the bottom after the last post on the page? The reason I ask is when you hit the back button the new messages stay bold like you have not read them yet, but when you hit new post, the last one you read is not bold anymore. I know you know that, but to get back to the new post button you must scroll back to the top of the screen. Since you are at the bottom, it would be faster to get to the next post that way. I know things are trivial sometimes, and may not even be possible. Thanks, J. Belders
