Republicans Displeased With Delay in Implementation of Gambling Law It's pretty misleading that Congressman Goodlatte of Virginia says that the UIGEA was passed by an overwhelming majority of 421-2. He neglects to mention of course that the real bill was on Port Security and the UIGEA provisions were sneaked into that final action of Congress in 2006. I suppose it will be interesting to see this develop over the next few months.
