Kudos to Iron Horse Casino (Auburn, Washington) for being so supportive of tournament blackjack. Their 20000 Guaranteed tournament held this week was a big risk for a small casino but they pulled it off in spades. The tournament was professionally run, they were generous with meals and match plays, and sit and gos were available to kill time and make $$ between rounds. Qualifying on Tuesday (top 2 of 7, max 126 players) gave you the opportunity to be one of 42 who played on Wednesday evening for the money. Several members of this forum advanced to Wednesday night but unfortunately, we were not represented at the final table. Iron Horse plans to make this (maybe bigger & better) a quarterly event.
