I'm getting tired of shuffling cards; and the program I *do* have doesn't tell me how many decks it's using NOR when it shuffles. If it helped in learning card counting, that would be a PLUS. For the PC, withOUT costing too much? THANX, David. DavidLillard2004@Yahoo.com
CV is the best Casino Verite is the best available practice software, and it includes a tournament function as well, though it has some issues. (The publisher is currently working on a special tournament version.) It costs $90. For a cheaper solution, Blackjack 6-7-8 software is a good value for the $40 cost. Both are available at my site: http://www.blackjackinfo.com/catalog/
Downloaded the Shareware version of Casino Verite from another site for evaluation. When the player busts, shouldn't the dealer take the $$ *before* it takes the cards? Shouldn't the Player have the option, regardless of how stupid it might be, of doubling down? The timer should be eliminated. Was shut out of a hand because I got side-tracked with a telephone call. Will probably have more comments, soon. Take Care, David. DavidLillard2004@Yahoo.com
