This is one reason BJ tourneys are not as popular as Poker, 75% of the prize fund goes to first, in most poker events 30-35% goes to first with 10% of the field making money. 6% or less will make anything here.
Bigger blackjack events are popping up regularly these days in Mississippi, and that's great news! However I'll be absent for this one, spending a week in central Mexico.

11/16,17,18/2007 -At last nights tournament I was told these dates are confirmed for this event. Fri./16th- reception, Sat./17th-play, Sun./18th-finals. Rooms are for Fri. and Sat. night. -The 'Events Calender' post representing dates for 11/17-19/2007 has more detailed information than I was able to get regarding payouts and structure although the dates are suspect. My sources are the ladies running the Wed. night tourn. and their names are on the original post. I have been told they have close to fifty entries so far. If they dont get 96 players the tournament will be cancelled. There will be no comped entries for this tournament.
