Please help me. I've just got back from my holidays and I was severely bitten many times by bloody (ha!) mosquitos and they itch like hell. What can I do to stop the scratching? It's driving me mad aaaAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!

    Cheers

If you lived in the US I would say go to the pharmacy and buy some "Chiggar Rid"...it works on mosquito bites as well. I don't know if that's available in the UK...so Calomine Lotion or Cortaid anti-itch ointment should work. You could just try rubbing alcohol--it will sting--but it would probably stop the itching.:)

    Mosquito Bites

Pevention is always better than the cure.

You should have rubbed in a sugar solution over your entire body before you went away.

It would not have stopped the mosquitos biting you but would sure as hell have rotted their teeth.

I was just wondering where Reachy had got off to. Thought perhaps someone had offended him and departed for less contentious posting.:D

If it is chiggers and not mosquitos then finger nail polish will work. It smothers them. Try to find clear finger nail polish though. Jan:laugh:
