The $10,000 grntd tournament was attended by 75 players who anted up $72 or qualifified in the $72 / 12 players $6 entry satellites. The tournament took place without any problems and was won by Xperts with Fubar coming second.
With UB/Bet21 picking up momentum and Get21/GP also showing signs of growth, 2007 holds a lot of promise for online BJT gamers.
Happy New Year to all BJT fans!:celebrate :celebrate :celebrate

How can US players get on this site for tournament play?

Don't quote me on this, but....

Apparently it's an issue with their BJT software vendor. Given the amount of marketing dollars being spent by Golden Palace (i.e. Ken Smith's TV ads), one would hope that they are working on a solution that will allow US players at some point.
Aside from that, good luck on working around your US address.

    Question?

With regard to the "ban" on US players - maybe someone can answer this for me.

What is the actual basis for the site(s) not accepting those players?

Is it their physical home address?

    Is it their citizenship?

Is it their computer IP address?

I mean if a Canadian citizen who is on Get21.com travels to florida and wants to play online can they?

If a US citizen has a Canadian PO box and deposits $ from a Canadian bank but lives in the US can THEY play?

What about the "snow birds" who live 6 months down here in Florida and 6-months in Canada. Can they only play while in Canada or both?

Anyone have the answers or know where I can find them?

I think it's the physical home address.
