Well it's back! The LVH $100,000 BJ ournament will be held November 19 - 21, 2006.

Entry is free as long as you caught a suited blackjack on one of their regular BJ games.

    NOTE:

    1. Rooms are not included in this offer.

    2. The "Mulligans" will be offered again for $100 I was told, (limit one).

    3. The hand with an automatic Ace will be used again as well.

At least that is what I was told today. I just didn't want anyone to be surprized at the last minute.

    Hilton Tournament

Rooms are included if you're rated.

This is a really cool tournament. Very easy to qualify for.

    Hope to see everyone there.

What is the qualifying period for getting the suited blackjack? Can you qaulify for the tournment a few days before it begins?

    Automatic Ace

TX, I missed that Automatic Ace description, would you mind (or anyone familiar) describing how that works? I'm set to be in this, having rec'd a suited BJ there recently, as long as my sched. cooperates...

    The "Ace" rule

From last May's event, here is what is said about the "ACE":
    30. AUTOMATIC ACE RULE- At the beginning of each session, a number will be drawn. The number drawn determines which hand each player in that session will receive an automatic ace.
For a more complete discussion on the "MULLIGAN" and the "ACE", see the following thread:

    Automatic ace

At the beginning of the session, a number is "randomly" selected. On that hand, every player is only dealt one card. The other undealt card is presumed to be an ace.

This variation, along with the mulligan chip, now appears to be a standard at all Hilton tournaments

Resorts owns LVH, it is not a Harrah's property.

    Qualifying

I think that this is a continuous promotion.
I qualified for this tourny, at the previous suited BJ tourney.
One caveat....you need to remind the dealer to get the pit boss when you have a suited BJ. Some dealers are oblivious to this promotion.
