    So it's hand 30/30, 3 in contention, I'm 2nd to act, BR1 with ~43K. BR2 had ~40K and BR3 had 18K. One advances.

BR2 left about 20K, I left bet around 18K leaving 25,250 (so that if dealer beats us I advance), and BR3 bet it all. BR2 and I were both dealt 10/10 and BR3 gets 10/7. BR1 split her 20's leaving her with pretty much nothing and got 10/4 and 10/9 making things interesting. It's my turn now, same 10/10 in front of me so what should I have done? Dealer topcard was 4.

I think splitting would have also been the right move so that again if dealer beats us I still advance, right?

Your numbers are a bit suspect here, potentially causing a problem.

If you in fact only bet 18k, then winning two bets only puts you at 79k.
If BR2 has bet 20k and wins two bets they go to 80k.

Now, I'm assuming that maybe that's not really what you meant.

If indeed you can split and have both the high and the low, then you should definitely split. Your risk is minimal. If you make 19 or better on either hand, you are a lock. If you make two stiffs, you are only at risk to a dealer 17,18,19.

    Yes!!

I was about to do that!! Except: the dreaded "point" rule @ the Beau got me while tension was at its highest!! After analyzing and counting my and BR2's chips, I very foolishly said, "how much do i have?" while POINTING to my chips!!! arghhhhhhhhhh..... now i still had a chance to win if the dealer made 20 as I had the most unbet chips left, but of course the dealer busted leaving me completely out of it.

Pretty sad of me to do that, since I had a real chance of advancing.... Stanford Wong's "Casino Tournament Strategy" book is who I owe it to!!
