The casino operated in Cherokee, North Carolina for the Indian tribe states that they now have "Live Digital Blackjack". Does anyone know anything about this game?

Pretty sure it's with a digital video dealer and that it shuffles after every hand. Also, I believe that since the cards are digital, you can't see players cards on the other end of the table. If you count, it's useless to play from what I've heard. Maybe someone else can give you more info.

Harrah's Cherokee "Live Digital Blackjack" means that they have a live "dealer" that pushes the buttons and pays winnings or collects the chips when you lose. You can see the display in front of each player so you can count if you want too but the penetration is about 50-60%. I usually just flat bet using good BS. Not the best of games. Dealer hits S17 but you can DAS and bj pays 3:2. Most tables are $15 min.

When we were there they had a "live" dealer who stood in the dealer position, but all the play was done on screens. Each player had a screen of their own and all they could see was the dealers hand as well as their own. Play was similar to a regular table, they just used computers instead of cards.

I think they said there was some prohibition against using real cards on the reservation, so they came up with this method.

Count is correct, a counter could not play here, you never get to see anyone else's cards. I don't think I asked how many decks they were using or if they shuffled every hand.
