I talked to Global-Player last night and this mouning about hosting a "LIVE MONEY" tournament next Sunday (Feb. 13th) for one of the cruise tournaments. What do you think about this proposed format? 60 players $100 entry fee $100 "LIVE MONEY" buy-in (you keep what you win) $ 5 to $50 betting limits All the other rules stay the same.
Addicted to those tournaments, I surely would play nevertheless. However, I like the "funny money" version better. I just imagine last hand, all my bankroll in the circle and having to double a hard 18 to get a swing...
I vote no. I think you'll potentially have fewer players, and at the moment, that's a problem! Stick with funny money for the foreseeable future. While there may be interest in live-money events down the road, let's nurture our small player base along with the lowest expenses possible.
Good point Point well taken, beside's Global-Player just e-mailed me a little while ago that it would take some time to get "LIVE MONEY" tournaments operational.
