The Master's of Blackjack Championship Tournament will be held on Mar 24th at Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort. The Entry Fee is $1500.00, with total prize purse of $250,000 and a Top Prize of $125,000. I can't wait to see if Vince Costa can defent his title for the 2nd time!!! He played yesterday in the last qualifier of the series to try and win his seat into the Championship, but he was busted out during the qualifying round. Hey, I played at this guys table last Thurs....we both rebought no show seats and I get stuck on his table...great Im thinking....I gotta play against the 2 time champ....well he got poor cards ...plus I am the newest best thing to come along;-) well I beat him out and got to the top three....2 move on.....175 and 200 behind... Im on the button....what do I bet??? 25 min ....500 max...? I bet 500....from 3rd place and on the button....#2 bets 300.....#1 bets 25. I get a 20 to the dealers ten up......both other guys are stiffed up..... Drum roll please.....tatatatata BJ yep backdoor BJ for the dealer....Im sent packing waiting beside this guy you mention here for the one wildcard seat...no luck for either... I did also win a mini tournment going for a seat to the WSOBJ....made it to 3rd in the final there too...I lost the seat again to 2 naturals this time....Im 3 and the other two guys get dealt BJ....gotta love the irony of the game... Im thinking about buying in for the 1500 in Canada....is this a good value tournment?....I think there are 168 players.... The betting there was wild.....I saw scores starting from 2000 and the semis had winners from 2500 up to about 15,000.. Anyway....I lost the AOl contest and Darren Toon must not have liked my video.....I wanna get there and play ....give me a seat in a 40 person layout and I will be the champ and milk it like Ken E does;-)
