Doing the math it appears that HR4954 may be enforced a week or two prior to July 4, 2007 so I'd propose we plan a "wake" for interent gambling over the Memorial Day weekend. I propose a "virtual" tournament held at several major cities using wireless Interent in a host hotel. I was thinking of sites in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Tunica or Gulf Coast, Chicago Metro and, of course, Washington DC. We might even be able to raise funds for a videoconference of the final table. That assumes that Global and Neteller decide to allow American accounts to remain active that long. I have no experience in organizing such an affair but figure that there is lots of experience on this site. Am I crazy? Volunteers? Bill Frist for guest speaker?:laugh:
