We are about a week away from the big Meskwaki tourney. I called today and they have 185 players signed up. It sounds like the registration will be closed at 200 participants. Who all will be there next weekend?
Deb and I will be there, probably arriving sometime early Friday afternoon. Meskwaki is slowly turning into somewhat of a national "tour" stop, if there is such a thing. We're lookin' forward to seeing many people again - the Ignace group, Seattle friends whom we haven't seen in months (or longer), and folks from other parts of the country, too!
I will be there not shure if my wife is going yet looking forward to seeing all of you, there is about 12 or more people from minnesota that will be there
Meskwaki I just talked to folks in Tama. The tournament is SOLD OUT with 224 players registered! They have started a waiting list, so if you are not signed up, there is still hope!
I did NOT cancel and have hopes of being there (wasted $200 many times before)! What time does the reception deal start Friday? Billy C
Straight from their rules sheet: The welcome reception will be on Friday, April 23rd from 6pm-8pm in the Convention Center. Enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. They laid out a seriously excellent spread at the last one. We made dinner out of it without intending to!
They did feed us well. Contintental breakfast Sat am was a full spread too. Our flight gets in at 3:30 so we will see everyone at the reception.
