More online problems

Well I signed up for the 5:30 St. Kitts free roll today and finally was taken to my table, but I had no betting options to pop up so I could play. A pop up told me I needed to reconnect so I did and by the time I was allowed back at the table the game was over!

Now normally I wouldn't think that much of it, Sh-- happens, but it was after 4 hands so there had to be more than just me having sign in problems.

Did anyone else have simular problems for this game today?

I've only tried to played Bet21/UB about 6 times so far, but 3 of the times I have had a problem.

On a positive note the PlayUBT site has been problem free so far.

I have logged over 8 hours today ALONE on Bet21.com AND PlayUBT.com.

Problems that I have enountered include:

Eye fatigue
Missing a few hands for potty breaks
Getting greasy fingers on my keyboards
Going to hit the STAND button on one screen when another pops up and I hit MAX bet instead - twice!
laptop shutting down because the power cord was unplugged!

I was disconnected once and that was due to my internet problem.

I'm running 3 machines - all 2005 and newer. I haven't had any problems that you and others have talked.

I've put in 3-4 responses to customer service and gotten replies within 2-3 hours at the max - two replied within 30 minutes.

I too have played several Freerolls, Free money games, sit n go's, even some of the poker games. Only once have I had difficulty, & I think that was on my end as I couldn't even get back on the internet at that time.

TX,I agree with you.I have had timeouts,hands that magically ended with of course the house winning & total disconnects.I work on the internet all day long and do not encounter these problems from other web sites.It is my belief that we are getting ripped off from these web sites.I have played numerous hands for real money at single tables & the dealer has made hands to the tune of 86% with a 2 thru 6 showing.My friends that just doesn't happen in the real world.The dealer in the real worl makes hands but not to that degree.For me personally,I am thru with them.It's real casinos or nothing.

I don't know what tables you're sitting at but I dare you to try and explain all the EXTREMELY high totals I'm playing against for the St. Kitts qualifing people.

I can't believe the wildcat bettors I get stuck with. I just got knocked out in the elimination hand 16 (it was MY fault stupid bet because I'm too tired) but the BR1 had over 130000. Everyone else at the table had 30-40 range.

The dealer is making 86% of their hands? Right. Think it out why would the "house" rig this? They make money on your buy in not the outcome. I think that some tables seem like that because of the autoshuffle after each hand is dealt - that's why counting doesn't work here.

As far as the connection issues I would wager you've got a T1 or other super connection at work because business can't afford to go down. What do you have at home? My broadband has issues like Friday night during a thunderstorm it took me offline for 15 minutes. Is that UB's fault? I don't think so.

Personally my biggest complaint with all the sites is the 24/7 access is killing me! I complained B4 because I could never get a game - now I can't stop.

Well that's your problem right there: playing cash game blackjack online. Two words, my friend: unbeatable CSM's. Notice the rest of us discuss the TOURNAMENTS online, no one except for you talks about winning strategies against the HOUSE. Play online cash games for fun, or distraction, or to work out those latent self-destructive tendencies from childhood -- but do not, my friend, play them for an expected profit.

Bet 21 Problems

Played two freerolls and all went fine. On the third, showed me "absent" when my internet connection was solid and working fine for every other purpose. Later, not only did my name disappear, but so did all those on my table. This was only after having much trouble registering for the tournament. After a few minutes, 32 players remained out of over 500. Shouldn't it have been about 140 if everything was working fine? I think they have some kinks to work out at Bet21.

I now have a feeding tube inserted, an indwelling urinary catheter and wear adult nappies (diapers to you "Septics") which my wife changes when she can smell me in the lounge.

Next week I am having electrodes inserted into my brain so that I don't need to actually touch my computer and take delivery of a total immersion tank in which I intend to spend the rest of my life.

My Experience

I have never before tonight ever experienced a problem with Bet 21.com I chose not to state that because I knew if I did one or two UBT/ Bet 21 critics would accuse me of being a UBT/Bet21.com cheerleader/employee and not admitting to the problems at hand ,but the truth was I have never been disconnected before and I have played on the site every day sine it went live except for the days I was in Aruba .

To set the record straight which I feel like I must since one or two members here have suggested that I work for Bet 21 or UBT.Pretty funny since they are two different companies.They pick the company according to their beef of the day if its with UBT than I'm a UBT employee and if it's with bet21.com then I work for them .

Well tonight I had my first disconnect situation arise and i was prepared for the worse considering what has been reported here

I sent customer service a email concerning this situation and a short time later it was resolved . I have included it in my post

Two questions

JoeP, you have been a full on critic of paying a 10% house charge. Im almost sure you said no matter the payout a 10% charge was too much and we must not cater to anyone asking that price. Do you pay this charge at bet21?

I have never downloaded the bet21 program because the UBT program shows me absent on every try. If UB and bet21 are not same company do I have a chance with bet21? I can play at Global with no problem except regular interruptions found by most playing there.

Barney I have close to 900 post and I do not recall ever saying that about a 10 % house vig. But if you would be so kind to quote me and bring that post back up I will stand behind my word . My memory is that I never said anything about Bet 21 10 % vig or for that matter anyones.But please correct me and point it out to me if I'm wrong.
