I don't appreciate your smart-ass response to J Todd. He has been on the frontlines of this battle from day one, and he was the first casualty among casino webmasters. His very successful sites were based in Washington State, and he was forced to sell them when that state passed laws targeting Internet gambling. Politics 101 What part of "Republicans attached the gaming ban to an unrelated Port Security bill" don't you understand? Of course Democrats voted for it, since it was a tiny addition to a huge bill granting *necessary* funding to securing the thousands & thousands of uninspected crates that come through our sea ports annually, any one of which could contain terrorist bombs or chemicals that could take out an entire US city. THAT'S why the Republicans responsible for including it on this particular bill -- and, more importantly, for using their majority status to squash any debate or even a vote on whether or not it SHOULD be included there -- are the subject of the incredible amount of criticism you're hearing from the gambling community right now. Get it? Duh. Let me know if you need me to debunk any more false accusations you're still holding on to concerning this issue. I'm here to help. -hd.
