Good and Bad news

I qualified for both 2009 Treasure Island and Monte Carlo series finals tournaments winning a final table first at Monte Carlo and third at Treasure Island. Unfortunately I didn't advance in round three at the MC finals held last week end which was six rounds heads up (2 players per table) to determine the winner.

The four semi finalists elected to chop which paid the winner $35,000 plus a $10,000 Rolex watch and the other three $30,000 each.

The winner although betting last on the final hand drastically under bet and had to split 7's then double one hand.
