If you have a host at this casino, that is the best way to
handle your reservation. If not call 1-800-371-7568 to
make your reservation. An uninformed clerk may say that
only invitees are eligible but you should insist that
a ?$1,000 public buy-in? is available. Plan on spending a
    half hour on the telephone.

For those paying the $1,000, be aware that their computer
system my not allow you to make a comped hotel reservation
since a reservation in the tournament constitutes
an "offer" and "offers" cannot overlap. So even if your
reservation "seems" to indicate you have a room, I suggest
calling the hotel and talk to a real person to verify your
room reservation. If you are comped into this event then
    this may not apply.

The following information is from their past events of
this type. Some things may change but it should remain
    about the same.

Most entries into this tournament will be full or partial
comped. About 50 entries are available for the ?$1,000
public buy-in?. Tournament is limited to 250 players.
Although they do not say the prize pool is guaranteed, in
the past, even with a turnout as low as 170 players, the
full $250,000 prize pool has always been paid out. I think
they do that so as not to irritate the HIGH ROLLER comped
    entries.

    Thursday, Dec. 10, 7pm-9pm ? Early Bird registration. A
$100 ?live? chip is given to the first 30 to register.

    Friday, Dec. 11, 7pm-9pm ? Normal registration

Saturday, Dec. 12, 9am ? Play begins with 2 rounds of
accumulation. Your scores from these 2 rounds are added
together and the top 45 (approximately) advance to the
Semi-finals. The exact number advancing will be available
in the rules you receive when you register.

    Sunday, Dec. 13, 8:45am ? About 4 Wild card(s) are drawn
for the Semi-Final table to bring the Semi-Final to 49
    players.

    Sunday, Dec. 14, 9am ? Semi-Final round begins. 7 tables.
1 advance per table. Countdown before last hand is dealt.

Sunday, June 14, about 10:00am ? Final round begins.
Countdown before last hand is dealt. Last had is a secret
ballot bet. The bet is revealed after all ballots are in
and the amount on the ballot is replaced with tournament
chips for all to see ? then the cards are dealt.

    Their normal Blackjack rules apply.

Minimum bet $100. Maximum bet $10,000.

Approximately 18 to 21 hands are dealt per round. This has
    varied.

Cards are dealt from an 8 deck shoe.

In the 2nd accumulation round, when only 3 hands remain,
anyone can purchase an addition $2,500 of tournament chips
for $500 real money. This applies even if you ?busted out?
at any time earlier. Just stay in your seat until the 3rd
    from last hand.

    Prizes:
    Total Prize Pool: $250,000 (Guaranteed)
    1st=$100,000 (Guaranteed) / 2nd=$50,000 / 3rd=$25,000 / 4th=$20,000 / 5th=$15,000 / 6th=$10,000 / 7th=$7,500
