    Qualify

20 hours need to qualify. From Sept 1 to Nov 27. They might of added this to keep some of the out of towners away. Quite and increase from the 5 hours needed for their $100000 tournament.

    Locals tournament

The entire format is designed for locals and their regular players without a doubt. The 20 hours isn't that big of a deal, but the structure of the tournament where it is drawn out over a week and now looks like it will be over weeks is not worth playing in for out of towner's.

When Oklahoma lost their table games before, I heard it was because they weren't allowing "ALL" players who had contributed to the players pool a chance to play in the tournaments. If this is true it seems like they are get close to doing the same thing again.

Simple solution would be simply offer free entry with 20 hours of regular table game hours played, but also offer an entry fees to those players with less hours played.

    Example:

20 or more hours: Free entry
    15 - just under 20 hours: $100 entry
    10 - just under 15 hours: $200 entry
    5 - just under 10 hours: $300 entry
    1 - just under 5 hours: $400 entry

Since the players pool is what is funding these tournaments I think an hour of playing time minimum should be required to play in these events. Also add any and all entry fees into the prize pool.

Personally I don't like the tournament drawn out over so long a period, even if I was a local player it is hard to have to come back so many times to play. There is no reason these tournaments couldn't be started and finished within a three day time span. Does Ft. Still even have a hotel on site?
