I hope my posting of this tournament makes sense. It appears that it is 3 separate tournaments. Two qualifying tournaments one each on Friday and Saturday with the prize structure all in tableplay chips. The winner of each of these plus 4 people in a drawing (I assume it is everyone who has played in either of the qualifying tournaments) get to play a round where the winner gets 50K in cash. I am guessing that it is a purely invitational tournament, but who knows they may let someone in for a fee (my guess would be 500). The phone number on the flyer was 1-888-567-6667 and it said mention the code DOUBLE.
I did call and make a reservation today. It is by invitation only. A person can play in both qualifying tournaments. There are no rebuys. Larry
Yup! Got mine too and will definitely be playing in it as well. Seems exciting, though I had to call them up for the details on the event. The lady said that they sent out 4900(!) invitations, and I RSVP'd right as soon as I got it yesterday. The $50K all cash is enticing, but it equals out the 2 qualifying tourneys that are paying all TABLEPLAY CHIPS for the final table.... too bad my monthly junket flights dont match up for this event cuz that'd just be icing on the cake!!
