the Bluewater Casino in Parker Arizona is starting to run mini-tournaments - they did one on Sunday, 10 june - and thew next one is scheduled for Sunday, 24 June - buy-in is $25 plus a $5 entry fee - no rebuys - entries limited to 49 players - prize pool is the buy-ins - so max is $1,225 - winner gets 35% or 37.5%, depending on the number of entries - all 6 final table players get something - 6th being a min of $30 - qualifying round is two of seven advance, semi-final is 3 of 7 advance - assuming tournament is filled - pit staff said they want to do minis every two weeks - and hopefully add Wednesday night tourneys - as well as the Sunday ones - they have not scheduled more tourneys as of this date - they want to see how they do - but sounded like they really want to run some - not worth traveling for - obviously - but if you live near Parker - at least there's a tourney available now - I'll play the 24th - as it is now the closest tourney to Yuma (only 120 miles) - as the Yuma tourney is canceled for June and July -
