Getting started Best way to learn is to get hands on experience. Check out the event calender to find what is going on in the area you live. Find a weekly tournament somewhere which is probably a cheap buy-in (usually under $50) to start with. You can also get some experience playing by going to www.global-player.com and downloading their software and playing sit and go tournaments online. The buy-in is as low as $15+$1 for it. Best book around is probably Stanford Wong's "Casino Tournament Strategy". Ken has a link to buy it from his website www.blackjackinfo.com. Good luck, hope to see you at a final table soon. Pat
Global Player Wellcome to the site mshane. Look up www.global-player.com for details of their tournaments. They hold a tournament every Wednesday with Sit and Goes every day. Good luck. Andy
Thanks To All I am wanting to play at the Sheraton Tunica BJ Tounament Jan 27-29. It is open. I have called but have not had confirmation. Does anybody know?
Tourney time Howdy, If you made it this far then you should have found the tourney listings and explored Ken's fine sites. His tourney info is a fine primer. This site has alot of "what if's" in the archives.
