New Zealand BJ tournament

    Here is the format for the New Zealand Blackjack tournament on May 21st.

    $5,000 entry fee

    Round # 1
    30 players, 6 tables of 5 with 3 advancing = 18 + two wild cards = 20 to round # 2

    Round # 2
    20 players, 4 tables of five with only 1 advancing to the finals and 2nd place getting their $5,000 back

    Round # 3 - Finals
    1st = $100,000
    2nd = ? Split $30,000 over 2nd - 4th
    3rd = ?

    Exchange Rate

    If you're curious, the entry fee of 5000 NZD is about $6828 US Dollars.
    First place is $136,575 USD.

    What a deal

    Hell now that I know about the exchange rate it makes the $2,900 for airfare and 22 hour trip (from Dallas) look even better....LOL

    Gee I wonder if they offer re-buys as well?.....LOL
