I just got invited to a "Head-to-Head Blackjack Tournament" and am totally unfamiliar with what the rules/strategy might be.

It says "Take on the Dealer for your shot at the grand prize...It's a head-to-head competition. Sessions begin at 12:00 and run every 10 minutes thru 8:00.

Has anyone ever been in one of these, and know anything they'd be willing to share? Thanks much for any help you can provide!

This sounds like the top chip count among all the players who enter will win the top prize. If they post the leaders as the tournament progresses, the best strategy is to play late so you have a target. Bet big and keep your fingers crossed is really the only strategy. It's a crap shoot at best. If a lot of travel is involved, save your time and money. If travel is minimal and the entry fee is low, you can play it for fun & entertainment but don't get your expectations too high.

We're already going to be out there, and there is no entry fee. So, thanks for the advice - sounds like a plan - bet big & pray!
