the casinos near me (chicagoland) don't have any tournaments. besides driving for 2-3 hours or more to get one is there anything i can do? If I call the casinos by me would it do any good? Calling and suggesting they should have BJ tournaments does it work? or am I just regulated to driving a ways if I want to participate? any suggestions would be welcome.
In a word, YES. Chicagoland/Northwest Indiana is now a wasteland as far as BJ tournaments are concerned. You answered your own question - Travel to play. Good Luck.
Help me help you... Person, I just posted here last week about trying to get players to help me get our TBT events into the casinos around the country. Don't feel bad, their are lots of players who don't have it as good as you do (only driving 3 hours for an event). If you can send me the tournament director, marketing manager, special event manager, whoever the person is that would handle tournaments at you local casino, I will contact them and see if we might talk them in to trying one of our TBT events. Can't hurt, and maybe they will host one of them for us.
