Has anyone played in this tourney before? How good is this one compared to the one Bally's ran in August or the one by Gold Strike? Do they pay all the entry fees out in prize? The $1000 entry fee seems pretty high!
Historically, the Grand in Tunica has always paid out 100% of entries and re-entries in the prize pool, so I fully expect this to be a full-equity event as well. So, the $1000 may seem high, but you get $1000 worth of value for it, plus the room nights.
Nov Tourney at the Grand in Tunica undefined This will be a first for me. I agree with you on the entry fee. The first round will yield the top 2 BR, round two is the re-buy(70 players). In round three only 30 players will advance and the top BR will advance to the Semi-finals. The fourth round only the top player from each table will advance to the finals(6 players). A drawing for the 7th and final player will determained 3 minutes prior to the start of the finals.
