Well it is now official next weeks Oklahoma blackjack tournaments will "ALL" be using the Tournament Blackjack Players Association (TBJPA) "Surrender Cards"!

For those that didn't go on last years blackjack cruise or didn't read about them they are just a business size card that has "Surrender" written on them and when you want to surrender your hand, simply place the card in front of your bet. No more mistaken hand signals or verbal miscommunication.

Last year's cruise had both dealers and players praising these cards. Hopefully all the players in Tulsa will feel the same.

I won't be in Oklahoma but if you've never played with a "surrender card" I can almost guarantee you'll like it. Caesars Indiana uses a "surrender chip" in their tournaments with exactly the same purpose. Works great. No confusion. Nothing verbal. No mistaken hand movements. Who the hell came up with that stupid "slide your finger in a straight line" garbage anyway? Just slide the surrender card to your cards when you want to surrender. "Even a cave man can do it". Now if winning a tournament were only that simple.

    Thanks for the plug Toolman...

Any casinos wanting to use the "Surrender" cards just contact the Tournament Blackjack Players Association (TBJPA).

I'll be glad to rent out my concept to any and all takers...LOL.

All kidding aside, I believe these cards really will eliminate both dealers and players errors when surrendering not only in tournament play, but regular table play as well.

I guess I'll find out after next week.
