Next weekend one of the bigger online casino will have a one of their representatives at the Gold Strike casino in Tunica for questions and discussions about what the players want and don't want, like and dislike.

This should be interesting since the company is 888.com, which just got slammed a few weeks ago over their suited blackjack promotion. I contacted them and voiced my displeasure over how the promotion was handled and they are sending someone over try to things right.

I have been asked to invite several players to this meeting, I was told they will give some type of gift away to the players wanting to participate in the discussion.

I am willing to listen and see what they have to say and see how they correct their last promotion mess. Any players wishing to attend just PM me so I can add you to the list.

No time set yet, but I believe it will be Sat. after the first day’s rounds are complete.

Also just for info: Sam's Town is having a good poker tourney Aug. 8 at noon, $130 buy-in includes entry fee, limited to 165 players, it will fill up making the prize pool $16,500 and they are adding $5,000 making it $21,500. A great overlay.

I assume the poker tournament is at Sam's Town Tunica not LV. Is this correct?

    $50 is a great overlay??

$130 times 165 players = $21,450 paid in by the players. So the casino is putting up a measly $50 extra.

Now look at the entry fee. If the player-funded prize pool is $16,500 then the buy-in is $100 and the entry fee is a whopping 30% !!

The fishing must be pretty good around Tunica. :D

p.s. Are you sure this tournament isn’t at a Harrah’$$ casino? :eyepatch:

$100 buy in, 30 entry fee last time they paid 28 places and only 102 played yet $5,000 was still added. Yes in playing around the country Tunica has the softest games, far too many tourists watch TV. Date change Aug. 5th in Tunica.
