Looks like economic conditions have hit the Orleans. My wife, who only has minimal recorded play there got an invite, with 3 nights at the hotel, to their July 14, 2008 BJ tournament. In the past, I have heard, they wanted about a $50 average bet for 12 hours at the gaming tables in order to get an invite. So if they are lowering (at least temporarily) their play requirements, I would guess this tournament will be near full with 180 players because of more invites going out. This is good news for those that plan on attending because, and I'm only guessing, the prize pool should be at or near what they advertised and more ploppies will be there.
