Golden Moon at PRR in Mississippi has a Tuesday night tourney every week (though these may be discontinued if they start WSOB tourneys). Has anyone ever played one at Golden Moon? The Tuesday night tournaments at the Golden Moon have been suspended until after the WSOB qualifiers. I assume they will start back sometime in January. I haven't played these tournaments, but plan to after they start back up. I've played the last two invitational BJ tournaments at the Golden Moon and will be going back for the December tournament. Cashed once so far. Also playing the WSOB qualifier this Thursday night. Wish me luck!
Not true; yes, they will discontinue the Tues. night tourney until after the first of the year, but they will still play tomorrow night.
When I was there late-Oct, they had signs up in the casino stating Nov. 7th would be the last weekly BJ tournament of the year. I guess they changed their mind.

According to their signage, they are definitely discontinuing the weekly BJ tournaments until after the WSOB qualifiers. I am a little mystified as to why since the WSOB qualifiers will be held on Thursdays and the weekly was held on Tuesdays. They are also discontinuing the weekly dice tournaments until after the WSOB event. That makes more sense since it was played on Thursdays. Since the original question was about format, here is how it was before they suspended play. $500 starting bankroll $5 minimum bet, $200 maximum bet 20 hands count after hand 15 one advance from table rebuy round available ($25) one advance from table in rebuy round wildcards drawn before semifinals semifinals - two advance from table finals - one super wildcard drawn for final table. As stated, this tournament almost always fillls up so get there early enough to get entered. The registration table opens at 6 and there is usually a line waiting on them to get started.

Ken, I haven't called to verify the qualifier, but I did receive a mail-out about it this week. According to the flier; Each Thursday from 11/23 until 1/04, Registration at 6pm, First round starts at 7pm. I will be eating Thanksgiving lunch with family about 1 hour away from Philadelphia and my plans are to play the qualifier tomorrow night. I'll call to verify it before actually heading to the casino.
Thanksgiving Day Verified I have already registered for the first day of WSOB qualifiers on Thanksgiving Day. Registration begins at 6:00 p.m., and play begins at 7:00 p.m.
