At the local weekly and monthly mini-tournaments I play everyone wants to play with and shuffle their chips around during the match. One woman even took her chips off the table and held them in her hand! The dealers don't seem to care so about a quarter way through the round I'll speak up and directly ask the players to stop, making me look like the ass. How do you handle it?
Continue to be an Ass Sometimes being an ASS is a good thing. If the rules state that all chips must be visible at all times and they are not speak up and ask that the rules be followed. My game depends upon knowing the other players chip totals,if i cant see them then im really playing blind. The players that are doing this dont really have a clue as to the importance of this aspect, So make your request like you are just being an ASS don't really let them know why you want to see their chips.Never wake up a sleeping dog
