Example: Small Time Tourney Betting Limits $1-25, Behind At Start Of Second Round By $100, What Is Best Strategy Of Catching Up In A 30 Hand Round?

Do whatever the leaders are not... If they're still betting big, bet the minimum. If they are betting small, bet the max. You're down by 4 max bets, so you may as well start now.

    Ken,

I understand your contranian approach and I will concede it is a great system. My question to you is this - in a situation where you are behind by 4 max bets (above example) and the table keeps betting max - WHEN do YOU throw in the towel and go max bet also hoping for a double down/split situation to promote a large swing?

Is that any general rule of thumb on that?

    Long way to go

You got 30 hands to bet contrary. That is a long road to travel.
