I arrived at the registration social Thursday night and learned the casino had decided to waive the entry and re-buy fees for their Double Shot BJ/Poker tournament. These fees were advertised at $250 each, so even without the need for a re-buy in the BJ event, this change meant a savings of $500. Needless to say, I was quite happy to get a shot at $200,000 in prize money for FREE. In the BJ tourney, I advanced in the first round, but didn't make it out of the quarter-final round. Simply didn't catch the cards when I tried to make my move on BR1. In the Hold-em Poker event, I went all-in with a pair of Aces after a flop of A-K-10, figuring my opponent to have the Kings. Got called and was correct about having Aces vs. Kings, but the 3rd King fell on the river and my tournament was over. Just another bad poker beat. LOL
