If you want a sneak preview of the field in GSN's World Series of Blackjack second season, here's a new press release that has brief biography information about each of the 40 players: http://press.arrivenet.com/bus/article.php/550043.html
Ken, how many players are members from your site? And, how can I see this series since there is no tv channel carrying GSN here. Is there a VCR or DVD?
Half of the 40 are here I think I count 17 of the players as definite members here, and there are at least 3 others that I'm pretty sure are here but I'm not 100% on. There may be others that I don't know about as well. At this point, there's no alternative to watching on GSN. However, if you're headed to the Jan 21st tournament at Bally's Tunica, I'm trying to organize a group viewing of the premiere that night, probably at Grand Tunica's sports bar.
Hmmm Actually, I may go to that Treasure Chest Tourney, but anything is possible. If I go to Tunica, please count me in on the viewing. By the way, that is one helluva player count from this site on GSN.
Add One Mo' Ken, you can add me to the list, as I just registered moments ago. Hi Folks. Rick Blaine here. I thoroughly enjoyed competing in the WSoB2 and am considering a progressively more active participation in future events. I was confident in being able to alter my appearance so as not to hinder future live casino play. Let's hope this will be the case. Having not been an active tournament player, I was directed to this page for the tournament tips. These tips were one of the two learning aids that helped me. Ken, you present the material in an easy-to-follow manner. Excellent value. Secondly, a successful tournament player took the time to talk me through a few tips in a phone conversation. Very helpful. If you read this, I owe you one! Looking forward to sharing more fun and potentially profitable tournament opportunities with the folks here and learning more of the finer points. If I assist anyone by providing insight on live casino (non-tournament) play, please feel free to contact me. Regards, Rick
Welcome Rick The GSN tournament was when I first meet Rick and I can tell you he is a class act. He is just one of the many great players I got to meet during GSN tournament. Glad to have you here Rick.
