What to do 2 players. BR1 700 BR 500 surrender allowed,max bet 500 BR1 is first to act. If i take simply "low" betting 195 and opponent 500 i have 57% win odds i think. But is there other options? Lets say betting 305 ? What happens when he a) makes 500 bet? b)makes tricky 50 bet? Do i get better odds by betting 305?
A 1/2 monkey bet Bet 305. Cover all-in win and you can double to cover natural. Unfortunately you can't cover the natural without DD. You can also surrender back to the low. Assuming BR2 goes all in your odds in this situation are greater than 81%. If they take the low you've got about 52% Alternatively you could try trapping them, say bet 250, see if they take the low then lock 'em out. Of course it leaves you vulnerable for them to take the high so it'd be a judgement call. If they fall for it your odds are 100%, if not probably slightly more than 51%. Cheers Reachy
