There will be some poker pros looking for new online homes after Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet decided to dump some of its high-profile team members.

Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet have dropped their team of poker professionals Michael Mizrachi, Antonio Esfandiari and Mark Seif. The future of two other big names, Annie Duke and Phil Hellmuth, also remains in the balance. The players were told the move by Absolute, which owns Ultimate Bet, was down to legal issues and the fear that they might be targeted and arrested by US authorities as the US repression on online gaming firms continues. It is unlikely it presages any exit from the US market by Absolute and is seen as a precautionary step by the company.

How will this affect Team UBT?

I know...It won't because most of Team UBT doesn't play EBJ anyway!

Just out of curosity how many members here have seen Team UBT members playing EBJ?

    I've seen Annie Duke
    Monica Reeves
    Hollywood Dave (rarely lately)
    Anthony Curtis (rarely)
    and that's it.

Hey maybe UBT could have try-outs for the Team UBT - The Next Generation

Remember American Gladiator? Have real ELIMINATION Blackjack events with the flying knife split zone

Or the 2,000 pound double down zone :joker:
