    CONGRATS to Rick J!

If you watched the WSOB last year, Rick was playing as tough as you could go. I think the BJ Gods are on his side this year since he has been giving so much to all of us.

Good luck Rick and the rest of the crew in Tulsa.

    In Feb. for sure!

I'll be back on Feb. 3rd finals for sure, not sure about another trip before then.

As far as Sunday's tournament, Yes I can win another shot for a seat for the Sunday tournament. I had a bad beat today to keep me from advancing, but it's all part of the game. I just didn't have the luck on the final hand.

Don't think anyone had any luck today from our group.

    No problem

Thanks Ken, Joep doesn't need any help...LOL.

Maxwell just send me a PM with your e-mail and I will send you the pictures.

As far as the room rates, thank Sal DeLeone. All I did is ask what kind of rates he would give out of town players if I advertised the tournaments for him, he came up with the $49 rate.

Everybody up in Tulsa treated us first class all the way. I heard everyone that flew in was picked up at the airport by limo and for the return trip. Food comps were easy to come by with just normal play.

All Sal ask's is call him or come by his office (across from check-in) before you sign in. Tell him you heard about the qualifiers from me (Rick Jensen) and he will take care of you.

More good news, they are new to tournaments and are wanting to start hosting more events and BIGGER ones. With all the extra cash the Oklahoma casinos have to give back they maybe hosting some MONSTER TOURNAMENTS this year!

Unlike prior BJ tournaments in Oklahoma, I told them comping their VIP's is fine but open up the events to everyone at around a $300 - $500 entry and offer at least one re-buy (half the entry) with all that extra money going into the prize pool.

I also told them that everyone needed to start out with the same amount to be fair for all and use a elimination format. I would like to see min. 25 hands played (perfer 40-50, but it would be based on how many players get in.

If this happens it will be like old times, $100,000 + 1st place, $50,000 to $75,000 2nd place, $25,000-$50,000 3rd place ect.... How sweet would that be?
