Rookie, I see that you will be playing at the $30K BJT at the Orleans in mid-July. Hope to meet you there--look for the old guy (63) with the white "University of Chicago Alumni" baseball cap. Anyway, I was wondering if you could tell me what kind of action Mirage requires in order to be invited to their $300K BJT? I play most of my BJ at the Orleans and the Gold Coast and some at the strip (mostly at the Venetian and The Palazzo)--sometimes at the Mirage. Thanks and look forward to meeting you at The Orleans!
Mirage I'm uncomfortable posting on the Internet theoreticals required for Las Vegas Invitational tournament entry either with knowledge or guessing. Some casinos ban players from future events for many and sometimes strange appearing reasons. If your question was: How many players attend the Mirage 300K BJ tournaments, my answer would be 125 to 175. You'll have to do the math remembering they expect to make a profit hosting the event. I suggest you call the Mirage, ask for a host on duty and pose the same question you ask me.
Well, I took Rookie 789's advice and contacted The Mirage. If anyone else is interested, the response I received was: "Minimum criteria for qualification is a $300 average bet for 4 hours a day."
