On the urging of another BJT-er, I'll post this info:

Looks like this Saturday (9/15) will be my turn on noted gambling writer John Grochowski's radio show. It runs from 7:00 - 8:00 PM Eastern. My segment about the 9/22 UBT episode, and how I got there, is scheduled to begin at about 7:20. It's on WCKG-FM, 105.9 in Chicago from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. Streams online at www.wckg.com. Click on the "LIVE" link if you're interested.

I was going to post this information, but I see Brian already beat me to it!

Think this will be an interesting segment--I played BJ but not in tournaments. I know basic strategy plus card-counting to alter bet size/fine tune play works for tables but tournament play calls for a different strategy. (Swore off BJ when they changed a few things. Multiple decks, continuous shuffling devices, shuffling up good decks, some 6/5 BJ, hitting soft 17 and a few other things. Don't care about the casino-advantage side bets, since they're optional. Not all these things in every casino game but variety of combos was too much for me.) Think the tournament concept is an excellent deal for players and spectators, though. Also, this is a great site!
