“Queens vs. Kings – It’s All About Position” Radio Show Debuts Tomorrow on Holdem Radio

Lupe Soto, Founder of Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS) and Joe Pane, #1 Ranked Black Jack Player in the Country Team Up to Bring Poker and Black Jack to Holdem Radio

    June 25, 2008 – Queens vs.
Kings – It’s All about Position will make its world debut tomorrow, June 26th, at 4PM PST on HoldemRadio. com.

Created by Lupe Soto and Joe Pane, together they bring an interesting perspective to women in poker and black jack techniques. They have a light hearted banter and will bring the male and female slant to any given topic.

Lupe Soto lives in Las Vegas and has dedicated her life to the promotion of women in poker.
In 2003, she founded the first online poker club for women called PokerChix. com, then in 2004 founded the largest poker tour in the world for women Ladies International Poker Series, known as the LIPS Tour. Her latest creation is the formation of the Women in Poker Hall of Fame to honor women who have acquired prominence and who also have made contributions to the poker world.

With all controversy over men and women in the sport of poker, she also has created the Gender Defender Tournament series where the truth of which gender is the best poker player can be put to the test!

Joe Pane is a true New Yorker who for many years was a NY City cop, after being injured on the job, Joe decided on a new career and became a professional blackjack player. He has risen to be one of the most feared card counters playing blackjack these days. He is currently the # 1 ranked blackjack tournament player in the country by All In Magazine and was named player of the year for 2007 by Anthony Curtis of The Las Vegas Advisor. Joe has won over 1 Million dollars just in blackjack tournaments alone not counting money he has won at the casino blackjack tables. He has been shown the door at many casinos here in Las Vegas. Joe has written numerous articles on blackjack and other advantage plays and he brings that vast knowledge to this radio show for all to absorb. Joe has also been very successful in his early stages of tournament poker with a few final tables in only a short amount of time playing poker.

“When I was asked to do the show, I didn’t want just another poker show.” Said Lupe Soto. “I wanted to discuss more than poker since we’re in Las Vegas and also have someone in the booth with me that didn’t always agree with me.” She laughs when talking about her co-host Joe Pane.

This show will bring a fresh perspective and highlight women in poker, latest trends in poker and black jack, special guests in the industry, and tips from the tables.
